Heidi Klum Cancels Her Famous Halloween Party

We were wondering if Heidi Klum's annual Halloween party would go ahead in the wake of her divorce from hubby Seal, but now it seems as if nature has decided things for her; Hurrican Sandy has caused the famous costume party to be cancelled for the first time in twelve years...

We were looking forward to seeing Heidi Klum's annual Halloween costume - last year she was a terrifying corpse - but it seems as if, sadly, her Cleopatra garb is going to be hung back up in the closet until next year.

The Project Runway posted of herself in New York, along with a message to all of those affected by the storm. And (sob) she announced the cancellation of her Halloween bash:

“Hope you & your loved ones are safe after the storm... Canceling my Halloween party… postponing to a haunted Christmas.”

Heidi Klum has been throwing her Halloween parties since 2000, usually at the side of hubby Seal, so we imagine the year break from the tradition will only see her come back with an even more fantastic plan for Halloween 2013.

In the meantime, we guess we'll just have to wait out for this haunted Christmas she's hinted at...
