While both Liam and Leona have insisted they are single, it seems their relationship has definitely blossomed with reports claiming they are planning on spending the festive season together in Los Angeles.
The unlikely couple will be kept apart in the run-up to Christmas with Liam working in New York and Leona spending time with family in London, but they will be jetting off into the sunshine for a few days in December.
"Leona and Liam only starting seeing each other recently," an insider told The Sun.
"But because of work, they won’t be together for a while now. They thought this was a nice thing to look forward to."
'Trouble' singer Leona was recently quizzed on her alleged romance with Liam, 19, and remained coy, admitting that anything could happen between them in the future.
"All I’ll say about the rumours of me dating Liam from One Direction is you never know where things might end up if they’re given half a chance," Leona told the Mail Online.
"Other than that, I’ve never been one to talk about my personal life, because it’s important to keep a little bit of yourself sacred."
"Too many celebs would sell their souls to the Devil just to get in the papers. I have no desire to be ‘famous’ like that; I didn’t when I won The X Factor and I still don’t," Leona continued.
"The public don’t need to know every nuance of your life – it’s possible to give them a little insight and still have a normal, private life."
